I am a
postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Biomedical
Informatics of Vanderbilt
University working with Dr.
Bradley Malin. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University and a BSc in
Computer Science from University of
Crete, Greece. My research interests lie broadly in the fields
of security, privacy and trust in data management and emerging
database applications. This involves identifying privacy threats, and
exploiting the strengths
of database, statistics, and optimisation fields to develop methods
that enable effective data analysis while protecting data subjects. I
am also interested in
tackling practical and challenging privacy problems in health-data
related environments, including electronic medical record and
healthcare systems.
